SokoMarket-Fees

This section breaks down the sokomarket.com fee structure. Membership is entirely free for basic selling account and listing is free. Registration is free and gives you access to most of sokomarket.com services. A final fee of 2.5% is applicable when the item is sold. Right now this fee is suspended while the website is going through revamping and restructuring until a future date which will be announced to the users in due time and will not affect anything listed.

User verification fee:

One time small nominal fee of $1.01 will be authorized against your credit card but will not be charged. The reason for requiring and validating your credit card is to prevent against fraud and verifying member details and to create a secure environment among SokoMarket community. This applies to only the members planning to sell items on sokomarket.com.

Listing fees:

There is no listing fee

Final fee:

A 2.5% final fee is applicable only on the items sold. An invoice will be issued on the 10th of every month, and due by the end of the 15th. There is an additional four-day grace period for making payment, extending the due date to the 19th. We may at our discretion issue a single account overdue reminder email but we may also not issue any reminders at all. Payment is due from all sellers no later than the 19th each month. As stated earlier, this fee is currently suspended and will be reinstated at a future date which will be communicated to the members ahead of time. Members who own businesses that are primarily involved in sending inquiries and quotations are not subject to this fee.

Premium member fee:

This account fee applies to businesses that sell in bulk and basically utilize the buy offer and sell offer features. If you are a member just selling and buying then Premium member upgrade is not necessary. Premium upgrade gives your business an edge and added advantages. A business is able to have maximum exposure by priority listing unlimited products and exclusive access to latest buying offers seven days before free members. This upgrade is offered for an introductory flat fee of $50.00 annually which is bound to change in future.

Choose from a variety of methods to pay your seller’s fees. Once you get your invoice you can choose to pay through PayPal or with your credit card on file.
